Hi, I’m Destiny Moore, the founder of Growth Mindsets. In 2021, I started this organization with a clear mission: to provide opportunities for youth mentorship that foster personal growth, learning, and development. Growth Mindsets also supports families and communities, helping create an environment where everyone can thrive.

My main motivation for this work is my son. As a teenage mom, I faced challenges I never fully understood until later in life. Those experiences ignited a passion in me to make a difference. I wanted to provide children with mentoring opportunities led by mentors who share their lived experiences—mentors who look like them, sound like them, and truly understand their journeys.

At Growth Mindsets, we take a holistic, community-focused approach to mentoring. We aim to offer not only academic and school-related support but also social-emotional guidance for participants, their families, and their support systems. While our foundation is rooted in Godly principles like love, respect, and equality, we welcome everyone with an open heart, never imposing beliefs but always leading with compassion and understanding.

I believe that by listening, loving, and supporting one another, we can inspire positive change in our youth and their communities.
